Down in Louisiana
(The state that looks like a boot)
Lived a boy with a dog
He called her Bleu.
His love for dogs grew
And he did, too.
But they both got older
As all things do,
Now he’s a Husband
A writer and Dad.
And Bleu?
Well, she’s the best dog any kid could’ve had.

This book was drawn with delight
It’s what Aileen does (day and night).
Her dog, Mr Blue
He helped too
He posed all day,
For treats (his pay)
They work in a white studio
with a sign on the door that reads
“This is Where the magic happens”
And it does, indeed.
